The world's longest span floating power station
Datang Yiyang Beigang Changhe 100MW Fishing-Photovoltaic Complementary Floating Power Station is located in the Changhe waters of Beigang, Sihushan Town, Yuanjiang City, Yiyang City, Hunan Province. It is the first floating surface photovoltaic project in Hunan Province that integrates ecology, environmental protection and power generation, and it also created a regional The first large-scale floating power station, the world’s longest east-west span floating power station and other records.
The project is located in the plain of Dongting Lake, invested by Datang Huayin Electric Power Co., Ltd., and undertaken by China Energy Construction Group Zhejiang Thermal Power Construction Co., Ltd., with an installed capacity of 100MW. All Hi-MO 4 modules supplied by Longi are used, and the number of installed modules is nearly 280,000. There are a total of 32 photovoltaic power generation arrays, all of which are fixed operating modes for floating body installation.
The planned water surface of the power station is about 2200 mu. The current water area is a fish farm. In order to improve its overall utilization rate, the project adopts a photovoltaic array with an integrated floating platform to carry out fishery and aquaculture underwater to form a three-dimensional space that complements fishing and light. Multiple uses in one place, comprehensive development.
Datang's Hunan Yiyang 100MW fish-to-light complementary project is the first water surface and single largest photovoltaic power generation project successfully built by Datang Group. It is also the largest single EPC general contracted photovoltaic project undertaken by Zhejiang Thermal Power. The construction of the project is also important to Hunan Province. The implementation of policies to restore ecology and return fishing to the lake in the Dongting Lake area has a positive role in promoting, greatly demonstrating the true significance of environmental protection as a part of photovoltaic power generation.
According to the project construction party, the construction process of floating power station projects is often more difficult, such as the assembly of floating boats on the water during the construction of the project, the positioning and anchoring of the component squares, the laying of water cables, and the arrangement of the riverside hoisting wharf, etc. It is a new subject.
In Datang Yiyang 100MW Floating Power Station, the Hi-MO 4 components of Longi's application of M6 silicon wafers are used, which are matched with Sungrow’s pontoon type floating body, which can significantly reduce the cost of BOS mainly based on pontoons; on the other hand, Longi is highly efficient The low attenuation performance and excellent LeTID performance of single crystal PERC modules can well meet the technical standards of various application conditions such as water surface, and have higher efficiency in the actual operating environment, providing reliable long-term stable power generation of the project Guaranteed.
The relevant person in charge of the Datang Group said, "The on-time delivery of the cooperation with Longi ensured the smooth grid connection of the project on 12.31. Longi's components also have reliable quality, and they also have excellent capabilities in product quality control." Longi's Hi-MO 4 module is the first time. The successful application in the floating power station has also played a significant reference significance, greatly expanding the actual application scenarios of Hi-MO 4 components, and providing reliable choices for more power station investors.
In addition to establishing a model in the field of floating power stations, this project is also of great significance to local environmental protection construction. According to estimates, the project is expected to generate 125 million kilowatt-hours of on-grid electricity annually. Compared with thermal power, the project can save 40,000 tons of standard coal, 721 tons of sulfur dioxide, 1083 tons of nitrogen oxides, 100,000 tons of carbon dioxide, and 540,000 tons of water. While creating clean electricity, it also realized the five major benefits of "fishing, electricity, tourism, environmental protection, and taxation" simultaneously, boosting the coordinated development of local economic and environmental benefits.
